YOUR

MIND

Writing Prompts
Write until it becomes as natural as breathing...

Write a letter forgiving someone who deeply hurt you in the past.

Close your eyes and think of a favorite song. Visualize the lyrics, listen to the melody, and allow it to bring you to the memories created with it. Write how this makes you feel.

Think back over your childhood or adolescent years and write a letter to your younger self.

Write about the level of importance travel is for you. How has traveling affected you? What have you learned about yourself? If you haven’t traveled, why not? If important, how will you make that a priority in your life?

Visualize and write about your perfect day. Include active verbs in the present tense.

What does self love mean to you and how do you incorporate it into your daily life?

Write what your ideal relationship is with your partner. What does this look like and how does it make you feel? Write this in the present tense.

What would you do if you knew you would not fail?

What is your life’s work? How can you turn your passion into your purpose? How will you leave your mark?

What are your three biggest fears in life? How can you break it down and diminish the strength of these thoughts? How can you take back your power so these no longer affect your life?

Do you have any regrets? List them here and let them go. Forgive and release yourself from the ‘could’ve, should’ve, would’ve’.

What is your 1-3 year plan for your life? Be specific as possible and write in the present tense.

What are your core values? How do you action these in your daily life? If something is lacking, what adjustments do you need to make?

Think about who the closest person is to you and knows you best. Write the speech they would give honoring your life. How would they describe you and what would they want the world to know about you?

What has been your greatest lesson in life and what did you learn?

If you could interview anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why? What would you ask them?

What is one thing about you that no one knows?

Describe your relationship with joy and pain. What experiences instantly come to mind? How have the meanings of these words evolved over time for you?

What does it mean to you to live your truest and most authentic life?

What is your faith or current beliefs? How have these positively or negatively impacted your life?
